It is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections- both fungal and bacterial infections such as Vulvovaginal Candidiasis( Toilet Infection), Bacterial Vaginosis and Trichomonas Vaginalis as well as restores a healthy vaginal floral. The vaginal flora are the bacteria that live inside the vagina. The normal vaginal flora are dominated by various lactobacillus species. Lactobacilli help to keep the vagina healthy by producing lactic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and other substances that inhibit the growth of yeast and other unwanted organisms.

Klovinal is primarily used to treat:
- Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) – An imbalance in vaginal bacteria causing unpleasant odor and discharge.
