Delete Your Account

Last updated: 31 August 2026

About this page

This page explains how to delete your OneHealth account and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to the OneHealth account you use on this website and in the OneHealth mobile app for Android and iOS.

Delete your account yourself

You can delete your account at any time, without contacting us:

  • In the mobile app: open More, scroll to Delete account, and confirm.
  • On this website: sign in, go to your account settings, and choose Delete account.

You are signed out immediately once deletion is confirmed. You do not need to contact support, and there is no waiting period before the request takes effect.

If you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to your account and cannot sign in to delete it yourself, email customerservice@onehealthng.com from the email address registered on the account, with the subject "Account deletion request".

So we delete the right account and no one else's, we will ask you to confirm details of the account before we act on the request. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

You can also reach us by phone on +234 818 876 2448, or through our contact page.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted:

  • Your profile, including your name, date of birth and gender.
  • Your email address, phone number and username are released immediately, so you are free to register a new account with them straight away.
  • Your saved delivery addresses and wishlist.
  • Your health readings and any measurements you recorded in the app.
  • Your sign-in credentials. Your session ends immediately.

Your account is held for 90 days after the request in case you contact us because it was deleted in error. After 90 days it is permanently removed and cannot be recovered by you or by us.

What is kept, and why

Some records cannot be deleted along with the account, because we are required to keep them:

  • Records of medicines dispensed to you, and prescriptions supplied for them. Pharmacies are required to keep dispensing records, and we cannot delete them on request.
  • Orders, payments and invoices. These are kept to meet tax, accounting and consumer-protection obligations.

These records are retained only for as long as the law requires, and are no longer linked to a usable account once deletion is complete. They are not used to contact you or for marketing.
