Multi-Action Actifed Dry Coughs is a medicine that is intended to relieve the effects of a dry cough. This liquid contains three active ingredients that help to treat the symptoms of a dry cough.

These ingredients are:

Dextromethorphan hydrobromide
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride
Triprolidine hydrochloride
Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that helps to stop a cough from occurring. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that helps to relieve the effects of a blocked nose by thinning the blood vessels that have become swollen due to an infection. Triprolidine is an antihistamine that treats several symptoms, including sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes.

What causes a dry cough?
A dry cough can be caused by several different conditions. The most common causes are a cold, the flu, and allergies. A dry begins as a result of irritation in the throat because of germs that have entered the body. It is often the case that these germs spread, causing other symptoms.
